It enables you to capture a screenshot of the area of your screen that you require. There’s a unique option for that under ‘Go Screenshotting’ as well.
Assume you only want a screen capture in Mac with a particular portion shown and nothing else. You have three options to help with a screen capture mac shortcut using this plugin. Taking a screenshot on a Mac is quite an easy task as all you have to do is to install the GoScreenshotting extension on your browser. Click on Edit option to crop, annotate, edit your screenshot. Now select one of these options according to your requirement- Full Page, Visible area, Specific Area screenshot. Click the extension icon to enable it or pin it for quick access. A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen which gives you options to take screenshots and screen recordings. To open the Screenshot app, press Shift + Command + 5. The Screenshot app is available on the latest versions of macOS (Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, and Monterey). The Screenshot app is Apple’s built-in tool to capture images and screen recordings and gives you options on how to manage and edit your screenshots. Click on the selected area to capture your screengrab. Moving the camera icon will highlight the window or the menu bar. The crosshair will be replaced with a camera icon. To capture a window or the menu bar press Shift-Command-4, then press the Space bar. Click on the image to edit the screenshot. You will hear a sound to tell you the screen has been captured and a thumbnail of the screenshot will appear in the bottom right-hand side of your screen. To take a screenshot of the entire screen press and hold Shift-Command-3 on your keyboard.
